Meme & Badge Factory started with a simple frustration. Almost every "free" online meme generator we tried either stamped a giant watermark across the output, forced us to sign up with an email, uploaded our photo to some unknown cloud server, or hid the download behind a subscription paywall. We wanted the opposite: a place where a joke can go from photo to shareable in under thirty seconds, with no account, no watermark, and no nagging. So we built it.

Today the site hosts twenty-six free tools across three families: meme makers, badge and medal generators, and image utility tools like circular cropping, frames, and compression. Alongside the tools we publish plain-language articles that explain how formats work, how to design a badge that actually reads well at 24 pixels, and how meme etiquette and copyright intersect. We believe good tools should come with good context.

Our Privacy Promise我们的隐私承诺
Here is the shortest privacy policy on the web: your image never leaves your device. When you upload a photo into any of our tools, your browser reads the file locally with the HTML5 Canvas API and draws the result entirely on your machine. Nothing is transmitted to our servers, and we have no database of user images because there is no upload pipeline to begin with. The proof is simple: turn off your Wi-Fi, reload the page, and every tool still works.

The only things we store are small local preferences inside your own browser using localStorage: your language choice, whether you have accepted the cookie banner, and the pages you save to your favorites drawer. These values live on your phone or laptop only; clearing your browser data wipes them, and we never see them. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.

Our Tool Philosophy我们的工具哲学
- Free forever, no watermark. We will not charge you for a PNG download, and we will not paint a logo over your joke. Ads on the site keep the lights on; they do not pay us to ruin your output.
- 永久免费、无水印。我们不会为 PNG 下载向你收费，也不会在你的笑话上画一个 logo。网站广告维持运营，但不会让广告毁掉你的成品。
- Zero sign-up, zero credits. No account, no password, no "you have used 3 of 5 free generations today". Use a tool once or use it a hundred times.

- Plain HTML, no bloat. We do not ship a heavy JavaScript framework or a bloated SDK. Every page loads fast on a 3G connection and works with JavaScript disabled preferences off the beaten path.

- Honest about what it does. We do not claim "AI magic" we do not have. Our caption generator uses deterministic local rules; our badge templates draw with Canvas; we describe exactly what each tool is good and bad at.

Who We Are我们是谁
We are a small independent team of designers and front-end developers who grew up on forums where a well-timed meme could win an argument, and on office whiteboards where a silly "World's Best Coffee Mug" certificate could defuse a bad Monday. We missed the kind of tools that used to live quietly on personal homepages — fast, free, a little rough around the edges, and made by people who actually used them. Meme & Badge Factory is our attempt to bring that spirit back in 2026.
